‎Ultrasonic flow meter is identical to flow meter clamp on where the installation does not need to cut pipes or perforate pipes. The most widely known types of ultrasonic flow meters are portable flow meters and wall mount clamp on ultrasonic flow meters.‎

‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎Clamp on ultrasonic flowmeter‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ is the way of installation and how it works is almost the same as portable ultrasonic flow meter. The difference is that this flow meter uses a fix power and this flow meter is usually used for long operations and is used for reading and can also store the results of flow readings in the pipe.‎

‎As is generally ‎‎ ‎‎the flow meter clamp on ultrasonic‎‎ ‎‎ has an analag output of 4-20 mA, alarm, relay, pulse or communication RS232 or RS485. As for the type of flow transmitter or ultrasonic flow computer there is a type of wall mount, pannel mount or pipe mount. As for power supply there are also those who use AC 220 VAc or 24 ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎Vdc.‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎

Coriolis Mass Flow Meter

‎ ‎‎Coriolis mass flow meter‎‎ ‎‎ is a type of mass flowmeter that real calculates the mass of a fluid flowing in a flowmeter. ‎‎ ‎‎The mass flow meter coriolis‎‎ ‎‎ is a tool to measure the mass of liquid moving through the coriolis sensor in the form of a special pipe. Mass flow meters work according to coriolis law, where measurements of fluids passing through coriolis sensors are calculated by mass or weight components.‎

‎The accuracy of ‎‎the Coriolis flow meter is‎‎ a flow meter that has a high enough accuracy to be able to detect flow at an error of 0.1%. Because of the nature of work and materials and sensors of the coriolis mass flow meter that is so thorough, the price of the coriolis flow meter is very expensive. However, the expensive price will be replaced by the high accuracy that can be obtained by this flow meter.‎

‎Due to the construction properties of the coriolis mass flow meter sensor that is able to work at extreme temperatures of cold to heat and is able to work on high fluid pressures. Therefore, coriolis flow meters are very appropriate to be used by fluids that have expensive prices where less accurate accuracy can cause large losses both in terms of cost and quality of products. ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎read more. . .‎‎.‎

Vortex Flow Meter

‎Vortex flowmeters are also known as vortex shedding flowmeters or oscillatory flowmeters, the principle of which is based on the measurement of vibration in the downstream vortex (vortex) caused by a barrier placed on the flow of fluid. Vibration frequency of vortex can be connected to fluid flow rate‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎

Thermal Mass Flow Meter

‎Thermal mass flow meters use the thermal principle of a fluid to measure the rate of flow flowing in a pipe or channel. Generally in thermal flowmeters there are two temperature sensors. The first sensor will be heated to a certain degree, while the second sensor serves to record the temperature of the fluid. ‎

‎Some of the heat in the first sensor will be lost due to the presence of a flowing fluid. As the flow rate increases, there will be more heat on the sensor lost. Transmitters use the difference between these heats to determine the rate of the fluid. Most Thermal Mass flow meters are used to measure gas flow.‎

‎The amount of heat lost from the sensor depends on the sensor design and the thermal properties of the fluid. The thermal properties of fluids vary following pressure and temperature variables, but these variations are usually small in most applications. So in applications where the thermal properties of the fluid are known and are relatively constant during actual operation, thermal flowmeters can also be used to measure mass because the fluid is independent of the pressure or temperature of the fluid. ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎Read more…‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎

Positive Displacement Flow Meter

‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎Positive Displacement Flow Meter ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎or often called PD Flow‎‎ ‎‎Meter‎‎ ‎‎ is a type of flow meter that measures the volume or flow rate‎‎ of‎‎ fluid movement by dividing a fixed media room with a measurable volume.‎

‎Positive displacement (PD) flowmeters make volumetric flow measurements take a limited increase or volume from the fluid. A basic analogy would be to hold a bucket under the tap, fill it to a set level, then quickly replace it with another and time bucket rate at which the bucket is filled (or the number of buckets for the “ditotal” flow).‎

‎The design of the ‎‎ ‎‎PD Flow Meter‎‎ ‎‎ flow in the in and out space always rotates repeatedly to fill the volume of empty compartments with fluid or gas flowing in the available compartments. The flow rate is calculated from the level this compartment is filled and emptied. This type of component in the flow meter can be a nutating disc, oval gear, helical or piston or screw tooth. ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎read more..‎‎ ‎‎ ‎‎ ‎

Portable Flow Meter

‎Portable Ultrasonic flow meter is an inference type meter (measuring indirectly) that determines the speed of fluid flow by measuring the transit time of high-frequency sound pulses that cross the flow pipe. Transit time is the time it takes for sound pulses to cross the pipe in two directions, i.e. in the direction and opposite direction to the direction of the flow.‎

‎The time difference used to pass from the two directions is proportional to the average flow speed. Because of the measurement of flow based on transit time, this method is also called ultrasonic transit time flow meter.‎

‎For the method of ultrasonic transit time has the advantage because the way it works based on velocity (flow speed) so it does not depend on the object in the fluid, so ultrasonic type transit time is widely used in custody transfer (product measured has a selling value).‎

‎In addition, there are also no moving parts (moving objects) or pressure drops (pressure reduction). The resulting accuracy is also good at 0.2 %[2].‎

‎Portable Ultrasonic transit time flow meter is suitable for engineers who want to check a system that wants to know the amount or flow rate of a liquid in a pipe.‎

‎Usually portable flow meters are used to check the amount of the engine cooling system, lubrication system, pump capacity, and others so that engine dissolution or production quality related to the cooling system can be detected early.‎

‎Or it can also be portable flow meter is used to check the performance of the flow meter installed so that the flow meter because the damage can be detected or can also be used to confirm the flow meter installed.‎
