Flow Meter Palm Oil Stearin or CPO Oil in the process produces 3 main types of oil namely Olein, Fatty acid and stearin. Stearin oil is in the community known as fat oil from palm oil. In the process of distillation is usually the first separated oil then stearin oil and olein oil. Olein oil and sterin oil separation process usually uses a press machine with both continuous and non-continuous systems.
For the continuous process the oil is flowed by a pump with a cooling process when the oil flows in the pipe. From this cooling, stearin oil molecules are formed as a result of the different melting temperatures between styrene fat and olein oil.
Stearin oil will freeze or form solid particles at room temperature or cooler than 25 degrees Celsius while olein oil remains liquid. By filtering the process olein oil will come out of the filter while sterin is trapped in the filter. For the process of transferring sterin oil is usually heated with steam or other heaters at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.
