Optimization Procedure
Portable ultrasonic flow meters for liquids are suitable for homogeneous liquids such as river water, seawater, well water and chemical fluids and others. If the liquid contains solids such as wastewater or dirty water the maximum solid content is not more than 15%.
How to operate ultrasonic portable flow meter is very simple and can be started by determining the position or point where the flow must be laminer. While the variables that must be known before using this tool are the type of pipe material,metered from the measured pipe, the thickness of the pipe and the type of liquid in the pipe.
When there is an error in entering the above variables usually the reading of the portable flow meter is inaccurate and can be an error. Conversely, if the inputted variables are right, including the transducer distance and the magnitude of the sound velocity, then the ultrasounic signal is good.
