When choosing a measurement location, it is important to choose an area where the fluid flow profile is fully developed to ensure highly accurate measurements. Use the following guidelines to choose the right installation site:
- Choose a part of the pipe that always contains liquid, such as a vertical pipe with an upward flow or a full horizontal pipe.
- Make sure the length of the straight pipe is at least the same as the image shown below for the installation of upstream and downstream transducers.
- Make sure the surface temperature of the pipe at the point of measurement is within the transducer temperature limit
